Question If gsync can lock to any fps but freesync only locks to 60-75-100-144 then wouldnt gsync be a better mid range option?

since most games probably can't reach 100. if you're playing 1440p even more so.
I'm debating whether to get the new navi gpus. seems like you could loose 10 or 20 frames by having it lock to a lower resolution instead.
Im looking for 1070 performance.



I couldn't find the actual refresh rates that freesync locks to does anyone know them?

I was not aware that it only worked at certain frequencies, i know the range is quite narrow (compared to gsync), but as far as I know it's perhaps between 60 and 100, not either 60 or 100.
