If i build a PC myself do i need a WiFi adapter if i don't want to connect with a ethernet cable?

Your other options, if you don't want an ethernet cable, is a fiber optic cable, wifi, or have Chuck Norris deliver your network packets.

if your only designing a pc to do normal things like check email look at internet stuff. wifi adapter or wifi card would be ideal if you dont want a cord. but if your trying to game its almost always a high quality Ethernet cable you would want.

Ty for help i think i will be going with the ethernet cable then becuase of better connection, btw i'm going to build a gaming pc

If you are going to game online you're better off with wired connection because WiFi has higher ping times !!
