These are my specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GYX6Vn/

So, I was doing some research where I live, and I found out that to buy computer parts it's almost double the price! On top of that, this summer I'm also going to the U.S. and everything is a lot cheaper there. I was wondering if I can buy everything there then bring them back and be able to build them without any compatibility issues.

Thanks.

I'm probably not going to have a optical drive so that should be ok.

Uhhh, I don't think I should say it, but I know Singapore has the same cords as mine, so lets just say Singapore.

So how should I come upon this? Which plug should I buy? Should I change my PSU?

Hahahahha same as singapore? Say hi to Kim for me! :ptdr:

??

You've hinted that the same socket used in Singapore will be similar to the one where you're going to stay..

xD ya im in singapore..

I'm so confused. I thought you had implied that you live in North Korea because they also use the same socket as the one in Singapore, as well as several other countries.

I am having problems understanding where the difficulty is here. If you live in Simngapore, your plug should look like the one in the link I provided.... I assumed it was likely that you know that already. It is 230 volt / 50 Hz and looks like this.

In the US plugs look like this

So if you buy a PSU in the US.... its gonna have a plug that wants to see are 115 volt / 60 Hz and looks the the 2nd of the two pictures.

Solution: If you want a PSU that works in the US, buy it in the US. If you want a PSU that works in Singapore, buy it in Singapore.

However, it's too expensive... also all my parts are going to be bought in the United states, can i just use a adapter and convert it? If so, what converter?

However, if I buy the PSU in Singapore, will the Singapore PSU be compatible with the U.S. parts? That's the only thing that I'm worrying about.
