If I do e upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10

Will I loose all my files or is it going to keep them like upgrade from iOS 7 to iOS I really hope I do not have to backup my files. Thanks

It depends on a couple things, like the compatibility of files, most of your files will most likely be kept, however backing up is always a good idea.

The upgrade keeps your files. Many programs might be kept as well: the upgrade assistant will scan your system before the installation begins and tell you if there is any incompatible software that has to be removed first. Settings will be migrated to equivalent Windows 10 settings.

Of course, it's always best to keep backups in any event. There is a slight possibility something goes wrong in the upgrade, for example (let alone the possibility of a hard drive failure down the road)

It will probably keep all your stuff. Unless one of any of the 80,000,000 lines of code goes ballistic, and eats everything.

For any major change like this, have a backup. Just in case.
