If I get ddr400 can I still run the Mobo at 333?

I'm building a new system and *may* want to overclock later. First I just want to get up and running. That said, I was going to order the Asus A7N8X and an Athlon XP 2500+. (Thanks to reading the forums here or I'd have gotten the 2600+).

If I order these components can I run them at 333Mhz (normal speed) with DDR400 or am I locked into overclocking?

You can set DDR400 to run as DDR333. In fact, on a 133MHz bus CPU, that's the fastest way.
