This is what I came across when searching for your PSU:

So, that's 12x17 = 204W on the 12V-A rail, and 12x9 = 108W on the 12V-B rail. Theoretically, 312W, but the power supply maxes out at 265W.

Still, the RX 460 is a 75W card. There should be models of it that don't require the 6-pin PCIe connector. Find one of those, and you should be good to go with your existing PSU.

HOWEVER - it's probably a good idea to update the BIOS. Do you know if you have a UEFI or a Legacy BIOS? Specifically, if you go into the BIOS, does it look like old DOS style text, or does it have a more GUI-like appearance?

If it's the old DOS style, it might not work with...

Hello Dxlan,

I am sure if you get a 500 or 550W power supply, your system will have no problems. As far as the CPU, since you have an LGA1155 socket, you could upgrade the CPU to a Core i7-2700K.

If it's the old DOS style, it might not work with the RX cards, as they don't support VESA mode 103, which the old DOS-style screen uses.
