If I have two gpu's do I need two HDMI cables

Solution
Nope :)
Well you need as many cables as you do monitors. So basically you will plug 1 HDMI cable into the TOP video card and the other end into your monitor. No need for more cables unless you have multiple monitors. If you have multiple monitors then you would need more (obviously).

well you can use 12 HDMI cables with 2 cards if you want 😛

AMD allows you to connect 6 monitors per card 😛

Solution
Nope, not at all. In Crossfire or Sli, you have two or three or possibly 4 cards. In a nutshell, one card is the master and the others are slaves. You connect your monitor to the master card which is usually in the first PCI-E slot on your motherboard. One correct cable per monitor, so if you have say two monitors, you would need one cable for one and another cable for the other and both cables get plugged into the Top Master

Yep. I think I tried to get that across the same way but I think you did a better job
