[SOLVED] If I limit Silent Wing 3 High speed fans to the same speed as the regular version will it sound the same?

Longest title ever says it all.
Basically the high speed version is much cheaper where I live than the original model so I'm wondering If I can just set it to lower RPM from the bios to get the same results in loudness

Yes. I have 4 of them in a Meshify C case. I'm am doing exactly what you are talking about.They are very quiet at or around half speed. As long as your motherboard has good fan control you'll be fine.

What made you choose Silent Wings instead of some Noctua fans or other brands?
I have an Asrock Z77 Pro3 hope thats good enough, could use third party software if it isnt though.

They seemingly perform as well as noctua but don't look hideous. It was as simple as that for me.
