Depends on what you are doing. If strictly gaming, a better GPU would help more. If you are doing multi core or threaded applications then a ryzen 7 would help.

I think you are asking when should you upgrade cpu or gpu?
R3 1200 or 1300x? is quite weak, with only 4 core, but it will still hold up for some time with gtx1050ti.
Keep an eye on dicount sales and new gen ryzen

You know I dont have a lot of money to spend on a pc since I just got one but when will a 1080 ti become like 400 to 500 dollars. Lol I wish a 1080 ti and a ryzen 7 would just fall out of the sky. Ps I hate miners
