[SOLVED] if i put hhd in dvd drive slot, does it cause any problem??

if i put hhd in dvd drive slot, does it cause any problem?? i have asus x556 uqk.... in boot menu it shows that there are 3 ata ports... but i can't find in my mother board...

the 3rd SATA port may be somewhere else on the motherboard. it should be as simple as following the wires from the back of your hard drive or DVD drive to where it is connected on the motherboard.

but as long as the HDD is secure in the slot the DVD player is in it will be fine. you may need to buy an adapter so your can secure the HDD in the bigger slot
