If I upgrade my CPU, MOBO and RAM, is there anything I have to do after replacing them?

I have read that you need to reinstall Windows after upgrading, is there any other way to not go through this process? My PC has Windows 7.

Yes, you will probably have to reinstall the OS.
Maybe not, but probably.

And with Win 7, you may even need to purchase a whole new OS.

No, you'll need to reinstall Windows for maximum functionality.

Re-install Win7 and re-activate it. If the activation balks, you may have to do it by automated phone. Rarely will you be refused unless it been used on several machines. Or is presently on 2 machines.
