If I upgrade to Windows 10 can I play with Xbox?

I am going to upgrade to windows 10 and I saw somewhere that if you're a gamer then you can play with people on Xbox. I play mostly GTA 5 on PC but all my friends play on Xbox one. If this is true then that would be awesome.

I think they're just using that as an example. I'm not finding specific info but GTA5 definitely should run on 10.

Alright, I'm searching the store in my Win 10 Insider build, I don' t see that game here now. It might be added later to support cross-platform but it's not there now. The last line here indicates a game needs to be designed to support the feature.
