Am I able to revert to windows 7 if I decide windows 10 sucks? I have heard many crazy things that sound scary about it such as not being able to upgrade chips and motherboards etc..

I guess my question is will I still have a working Windows 7 license or is it deleted for the windows 10 license? As a gamer I am interested in the new DirectX windows 10 gives, but I have heard it is memory hog among other things as well...

Yes, you can reinstall windows 7 if you decide you dont like 10. The license is tied to the motherboard (which is a pain if your mobo dies). As a matter of fact, if you wanted to reinstall windows 10 for that matter, you would first have to install windows 7 and then upgrade to 10 again. With the free windows 10 upgrade, MS does not allow you to do a fresh windows 10 install. You must first install your original windows 7 and then upgrade from there.
