Hi guys,
I was wondering if I update my pc to windows 8/8.1 will I be able to disable secure boot in the options so my graphics card will work?
Currently with windows 7 it gets stuck on the HP screen.

PC SPECS:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 @3.3GHz
iGPU: Intel HD Graphics
RAM: 1x4GB DDR3
PSU: Stock 300W

MOTHERBOARD: Foxconn 2ABF (1.20)
Chipset: Intel H61

Secure boot is a BIOS option pre-configured in the mobo.
The OS has nothing to do with it actually, just happened that this config started appearing on PCs/laptops with W8

You just need to get in your BIOS and disable it.

And by the way, i wouldn't suggets AT ALL to go for W8/8.1 , it's a terrible OS stick with W7 or jump to W10

Yeah, i thought the same anyway, but in my BIOS (even after updating it) there is no option for secure boot, legacy boot, uefi or anything along them lines.

Well, let's go with the hard way then.

Install CPU-Z, get the full name of your mobo.
Post it on google and search how to diactivate hte secure boot.

Or post it here, someone may know how
