IF you replace the SSD for the hybrid, yes. The hybrid only has a small caching SSD, not the whole drive. I've not seen much real difference when using the hybrids...

2. Your expectation is overboard. Exponent means 10+, u won't see 10+ increased speed, maybe 3x.

Yes, you will see a performance gain by adding an SSD and using it as Windows drive. SSHD's don't provide the same performance like an SSD since they only have a small amount of Flash memory for storing the most used files.

No, adding more SSD's will not increase speed exponentially unless on RAID.
