If Internal Storage on Android Phone is full, does data automatically download to microSD card?

Hey guys, I've got a Samsung Galaxy On5, which only comes with 8 gb of internal storage. I've installed a 32gb micro sd card, but due to limitations, I'm not able to make that 32 gb internal storage. I was just wondering, if the internal storage becomes full, if I download another app, will it be downloaded to the micro SD card?

No, apps download to internal memory. You can go in the app management and move some apps to SD but many apps are flagged to disallow that. This means that once you have enough apps that are internal storage only, you may no longer have enough internal memory to download large apps so you can put them on SD afterward.

I wish Google Play had an option to download apps to SD-card by default whenever possible instead of forcing people through the download-and-move process.
