Question if IPS is cheaper than TN with same Hz, it's a no brainer right?

The magical TN vs IPS leters matters less than you think.
The individual monitors matter more.

Some years ago, I had a nice set of HP IPS panels.
Matched pair.
Awesome picture.

They died, to be replaced by a pair of Asus TN panels (that I'm still using).
But for a while, I had one of each, side by side.

The Asus TN was better in every way over the HP IPS.

I'd go with the Dell here.

TN has exceedingly negligible benefits anymore. It's only real claim to fame (back in the day) was response time and refresh rate. IPS has essentially eliminated that gap (IMO) while being more color accurate*

VA still has a noticeable advantage in black levels with the trade-off of slower pixel response time

IPS in my experience is bad and i would never buy one. TN is fantastic because the blacks are so much better and the colours are so much more vibrant, at least in the same price range my RLxxxhm Benq monitor was. I will get a VA next for the 4k:1 contrast but my benq was only 1k:1 and that was perfectly fine, but every IPS i have seen looks so garbage, but my TV i assume is TN is garbage but IDK, it is the cheapest tv model you can buy though. I wouldn't get IPS but maybe they last twice as long, my TN died at 5 years which sucks. I'm thinking of a 4k VA 80HZ 10bit for singleplayer/TV because it has high contrast and then I will get a curved 144hz 2k/1k TN/VA for comp gaming.
