If my motherboard has x2 USB 2 ports and 4x USB 3 ports, but my case has only 2x USB 3 ports, where can I connect the other 4 USB ports?
Thank you.

Solution
You have these USB headers on the motherboard: http://www.motherboards.org/images/reviews/motherboards/1694_p3_18.jpg?
The case already has the USB ports installed on the front. You just need to connect them with the cable attached to the front usb ports to the USB header on the motherboard.'USB 3.0 looks different from USB 2.0.
What motherboard are you getting? Model number and brand?
I don't have yet, but when I was looking at the pc parts and I saw that's the motherboard has more USB ports than the case, my question is where can you connect the other usb ports if your case has less USB ports than the motherboard, at this case:
Motherboard - 6 USB ports ( 4x USB 3.0 2x USB 2.0).
Case ( corsair 300R ) - 2 USB 3.0 slots.
Thank you.

Your USB ports doesn't all connect to the case. Most of the time it is just two USB or more ports which has a cable that connects to the mother board providing a connection allowing you to use the front usb ports. The rest will be on the back of the motherboard.

I still don't know which motherboard I will buy I asked this question because it didn't make sense that's the case has less USB ports than the motherboard.
Now I understand, thank you.
When I will save enough money for all the parts I will ask you which parts I should buy.
