If a build has :
  1. a dedicated video card (PNY Quadro RTX 4000 8 GB)
  2. and integrated graphics on (Intel i-9 12900K)
will integrated graphics be more beneficial and will automatically be used for playing games vs,
when using/rendering Revit, Premiere Pro, and so on.. dedicated video card will automatically be used?
automatically?
or is that not how it works?

Thanks 🙏

Simply put, I am deciding where or not it will not make sense to go with i-9 K vs KF while having a Quadro RTX 4000,
is there any benefit in having integrated graphics?

or will Quadro RTX 4000 be able to perform in a game better then integrated graphics anyways and it will just used that at all times, so that I can be fine with KF?

🙏 Thank you very much.

Would you also take a look at this post? I really need a verification or critique from someone knowledgeable like you.
Long story short will my build benefit in any way (like for rare gaming that I could potentially do) from having Intel Core i9-12900K vs i9-12900KF while having a Quadro card? (other then for diagnostics purposes)

Please consider software we use:
  • Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
  • Rhinoceros 3D
  • We use rendering and animation softwares as well
The second point in your Software list will benefit from Intel Quick Sync, and...
Given how most system's these days end up falling under the troubleshooting category, it's good to have an iGPU on the platform, in case you need to diagnose a faulty discrete GPU. I'd side with the K instead of the KF.
Understood and that's a very good point, but I do have a few video cards and video adapters that I could use to diagnose. Now that you know that and coming back to my initial question. What would you say? Could you please refresh and read the initial post. Very much appreciated 🙏

As for the gaming part, that will be dependent on your GPU not iGPU, unless you change it from BIOS which is not recommended.
