If screen is cracked on lcd t v can it be repaired

Hello,
my son threw something into our t.v. the crack is there but smooth. the t.v. is making noise as if it is on, but the screen is black. can this be repaired

Yes, contact the maker & see if you can order a replacement. But the only problem is the screen my cost as much as a new TV.
