I don't know much about power supplies (or building computers in general), but i want to buy this one from a thrift store to resell, and i was wondering if the burnt ports make it either not work at all, or even just if it will effect the function enough that I'm probably going to have a hard time getting rid of it... thank you.

Don't.
Don't buy it.
Don't buy anything with the hopes of selling it, until you get a LOT more experience behind you.
