Question If two monitors are the same size, but one has 1.5x the resolution, will the text be that much smaller?

I have a Dell S2721DS 27" monitor, and was looking enviously at the Dell S2722QC USB-C 27" (or possibly the curved version, but the question is the same).

Both are 27" monitors, so I assume the physical size is about the same. Hard to tell, as the latter one is ‎2.18 x 24.08 x 14.35 cm according to the Amazon page, which I don't believe. However, assuming they are the same size, the horizontal resolution of the bigger one is 3840, which is 1.5 times bigger than the 2560 of my current.

Am I right in thinking that the ‎size of text, etc on the S2722QC would be 2/3 the size of my current monitor? If so, it would probably be too small to read easily.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Yes, if you configured both displays with the same settings. In Windows, you can change the text size on each display to make more user friendly (readable).
Wouldn't I lose the benefits of the higher resolution then?

When I got the current 27", it was an increase in both resolution and physical size, so I could see more text on the screen (I'm a software developer, so seeing more lines of code is a big advantage). If I increased the text size on this newer monitor, wouldn't I end up with the same amount of text?

Sorry if I got that wrong! Thanks for the reply.
