Hello everyone, I know this section of the forums are constantly plagued with GPU Recommendations, but sadly, I too am at a loss with such a vast selection. I'll try my best to make this as painless as possible, I thank you all in advance!

Specs:

CPU: Intel i7 3770k (OC to 4.5GHz)
PSU: Thermaltake 850W
MoBo: ASRock Extreme4 Z77
Old GPU: EVGA GeForce 660 (Broken)
RAM: 12GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Monitors: 2 1920 x 1080p HD Monitors, 1 has an HDMI & DVI input, the other only a DVI

What the card needs to do:

Pretty heavy gaming, but I'm not trying to push any benchmarks. Dual Monitor Display, but only running the game on one of them, and enough power to be able to record everything at the same time.

Budget:

$200 - $300

Estimated Purchase Date:

As soon as possible, most likely tomorrow.

Other information:

Like I said, I'm not attempting to run Crysis 3 with every setting maxed, just trying to make everything look as best as possible! I have a very roomy computer case, so size isn't a factor whatsoever!

Thanks guys, I appreciate this a lot, I trust you all to steer me in the right direction! I'll be checking this thread frequently and will respond to any questions as soon as my phone tells me there was a reply!

Interesting, could you perhaps give me some pros and cons of why those cards are good choices?

I'd appreciate it, thanks!

I must admit, I'm not the most tech savy, although I'm getting there one step at a time. (This was my first build)

What exactly will those cards do in comparison to my GTX 660?

And I did a small amount of research, but how is this card?

"MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card"

Wow! That looks to be a powerhouse of card, quick question?

Why is there such a severe price drop? Also, I'm not trying to get a card my system will bottleneck, are you sure my specs can get that card to its potential?

Well, I did do my entire build off of Toms Hardware approved parts, and Community suggestions (;

So, before I go ahead and pick one up, there aren't many reviews on newegg, or amazon, what can I expect from this card?

Thanks mate!

Almost double the performance of a single 660. My friend runs a single 770 on a 1440p monitor right now with no problems, just lower some settings. At 1080 this card will perform great.

I have a PNY 260 16 core that I bought in 2009 and still use the computer for light gaming/browsing, and never had an issue with the card, never overclocked though. PNY is a good company.

Single monitor, 1080p, will this card be able to run almost any game on Ultra Settings with my setup?

I might be asking dumb questions, but is 2GB of VRAM enough if I also plan on recording my gameplay?

This is a very hot topic and conflicting benchmarks have made me dread the day I needed to get a new GPU.

Would this be a better card?

http://

Also, For the foreseeable future (Next 2 Years), I have no plans on upgrading past 1920 x 1080.

Will this card be able to record, and play the games for the next 2 years on High - Ultra Settings at 1080p on my settings?

In your own professional opinion of course.

It has 4GB of VRAM, if you wanted to utilize more than 2GB you'd need at least one more 770 in SLI. A single 770 might not have enough juice. I guess you could say its better.

As games become more demeanding you have to lower settings, so in 2 years you won't be able to play most games at Ultra/High settings, either will have to upgrade to newer card(s) or lower settings.

So, with all things considered, as the question implied, What would you buy if you were me?
