Anyone else notice that out of 13 games submitted under pseudonyms, 6 came
in the last 6? (Counting nanag_d, half_sick_of_shadows and Shed are not
pseudonyms, even though they don't have "(writing as ...)" attached to their
placings.) I.e., every game in the bottom sixth was written under a
pseudonym and, if you exclude davidw and Penny, which are just an
abbreviations of their real names, more than half of those writing under
pseudonyms came in the last 6.

Any chance that this means something?

Maybe you should just remember that it's bad luck.

You're not - heaven forbid! - hinting that perhaps people vote higher for
games written by people they know as opposed to ones they don't?

I notice you're not counting "30 Zero, by William A. Tilli" as a pseudonym.

FWIW, I'd just like to point out that mine (I Must Play) should be
excluded as well. "Fortytwo" is, of course, just my last name.

I thought you were a bit too consistent for it to be false, but it's just
such a ridiculous name (no offence, of course, but I just wouldn't have
guessed)

*smile* People who haven't read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
tend to not know what to think about it.
