iGPU Intel HD Graphics 4600 vs GeForce GTX 970 Power Consumption

How many less Power Consumption with iGPU Intel HD Graphics 4600 on CPU in Windows and games? Now i have 100W in Windows and 160W Computer Power Consumption in games with GeForce GTX 970.

Where are you getting the power readings from? Those are way off but if it's from software, then that is to be expected. As far as tdp the hd 4600 is 20w and 970 is 145w stock, boost will go higher. The 970 should hardly be using 15w in windows, the hd 4600 will be lower of course.

In your on the desktop neither should drawing more than 15watts. The on chip HD 4600 will be much lower than that. Once you get into games the GTX 970 will be pulling around 150watts alone.

I have computer power meter. I don't need GTX 970 for Windows only for games.

Newer videocards like yours don't draw maximum power unless they are under load. So if you are only on your desktop the videocard is not using much power. Integrated graphics is about as low in power usage as you can go, even under load.

What about laptop when i don't play games? How many Power Consumption? I had big electric bill amount because this computer. We have 3 desktop computers running at home but not 24/7.

I don't get why you are asking about any of this when you can get the exact answer from your power meter.
