HELP PLEASE!

I really am at a loss here with my mothers iiyama B2409HDS 24" monitor.
She has tried changing the D-sub lead for a DVI-D cable and now the monitor
is just constantly scrolling through different colours on the screen,
I've tried powering it down and removing it from her PC but as sson
as you put the power back on it carries on just running the different colours
over and over again, even with no PC attached it's the same.
I suspect when she has moved it she has inadvertantly pressed some of the
control buttons and was wondering if anybody knew if there is a combination of
buttons I could press to stop this from happening or is the monitor faulty
in some way.

Any Help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to reset it to defaults through the menu?
Have you unplugged the DVI-D cable and tried it on? from the monitor's end
Have you tried to go back to D-Sub ?
What were the results of all these....

I can't access the menu, the screen just keeps running through the colours and the menu button has no effect.
Yeah I unplugged the DVI-D cable and tried the monitor with just the power on
Even trying to go back to D-Sub has no effect either, the screen just keeps running the colours over and over again

I've done some digging around on the web and still had no luck, has anybody got any clues as to a solution to my problem. Thanks for looking.

Can't find a hard reset button on the monitor, I can only suggest leaving it off for 2 to 3 days without any wires connected to it, no dvi, no dsub, and no power.
Then give it a try after about 72Hours.
