For the life of me, I can not understand what those pixels are: dead, stuck or anything else. And, more important what should I do, put aside returning it to the seller.

Looks very much like dead pixels. Yes, if the panel is brand new, you should RMA the unit or inform seller to replace the unit.

Thank you very much. I always thought dead pixels are much more dark if not pitch black? This one is light grey.
