Iiyama monitors for gaming and general usage

Hey guys, i am building a new gaming rig, and i need a new monitor for it.

I am thinking of getting this Iiyama 22" http://www.iiyama.com/gl_en/products/prolite-e2273hds-1/#specification

But the problem is that i hardly ever heard about this company.
And it is quite hard to find reviews on the monitors of that company, they are either very dated or extremely poor regarding facts and figures.

Can someone comment on the issue?!

Now I am no expert, but i do believe that Iiyama are a highend manufacturer, quite possibly the best monitors money can buy.

I am currently looking to buy a new monitor, and I am eyeing up a Iiyama ProLite E2208HDD 22.

Still waitng a response on a thread I have started though, so I cant really be any more detailed that what I have already said.

Have not heard this company's name in a while, but years back they were one of the best "unknown" brands. Easily the equal of NEC/Sony/Mitsubishi etc...

IIyama makes good monitors. I would not rank them up there with NEC, Lacie, or Eizo monitors though. Based on their current line of 22" - 27" monitors, they all use TN panels except 1 single monitor; I would rate them as better than Asus (since IIyama is more established in the monitor industry), but below Samsung and Dell.

I think they are better known in Europe, than in the US though; like Hazro.

Anywaste... the reason why you probably have a hard time find any reviews is due to the fact that it is a lesser known company and the vast majority of monitors (no matter how popular the brand name is) do not get reviewed.
