I just bought a Iiyama Vision master pro 454. Immidietly I noticed that there is a white shadow to the right of anything showing on the screen. How do I get rid of it? It's quite hard on the eyes when reading text. I currently using the resolution 1280x960@85, any higher and the text gets to small and fuzzy.
I've also noticed a couple of vertical white lines about 1 cm to the right of every window. Also there are white horizontal lines to the right of black objects on the screen.
Is there something wrong with my monitor or are all VM Pro 454 like this? Is there something I can tweak or should I return it to the store?

Maybe you've tried this... Before you take it back, make sure that the "picture quality" is not set to "movie". If it is, you will notice some of the effects that you are describing. To change it, press the up arrow on the center 4-way button, then press left or right to change it.

I'd hate to see you waste your time if it's just a simple thing like that!

Thanks but the OPQ is already in text mode. If I change it, everything gets even worse.
The most annoying of all the problems is the white shadow to the right of everything. Is this normal for any monitor? Does the problem have a name?

I have now replaced my monitor two times, but I still have the same problem with the white shadows. When I talked to the service company for Iiyama here in Sweden again and complained they said that the monitor just is that way and it won't help replacing it. Can this really be? The monitor got excellent reviews from several sites including this one. Are the test people blind? I have an old Hansol 17" CRT monitor that I got really cheap 3 years ago and it doesn't have a single fault it, except that it's to dark to play games with.
