Umm..disposable cameras have been made out of paper for a while now, before there were digital cameras. While it is important to note that IKEA is moving into electronics, they shouldn't make it sound like this is some sort of special device.

Yep. Also, imagine people destroying their cardboardPads by wetting them and Apple making a ridiculous amount of money.

Full price? You mean triple price.

Nice move from IKEA. Clever marketing is the best marketing + the Swedish meatballs.

Its doesn't sound like these are really disposable, at least in the sense of the old disposable film cameras. You can just download the images and free up the space so you can keep using it. If they charge ~$5-10 for this (and still make money), I could see this being a huge hit. They could even throw on a $5 deposit that is reimbursed when the camera is returned undamaged. These would be great to hand out at a wedding/party to the guests and leave a place for people to drop them off at the end of the night.
