ILS Landings

When using ILS landing function on FS2002 (any plane that
is capable)the auto pilot will follow the runway heading
straight in ok but is always way above the glidepath, and
will just fly right over runway. Any help appreciated.

You have to intercept the Glide Slope from below. Try leveling out at
3000' about 10 miles out.....make sure you switch to the "approach"
button from the NAV button.....when you eventually acquire the GS
the ALT light will go out and down you'll go.
