How do you look up the frequency in the map to tune into NAV1 for ILS.
From there what the heck do you do?

Hi Travis

I use MSFS 2002 so can only speak about that program. However, I'm
reasonably sure that MSFS 2004 (aka FS9 aka COF) acts similarly.

Using the default Cessna 172, sitting on the active runaway at Gatwick
(EGKK), as an example:

Use the "Display Flight Map" button

This brings up the Map View

Click on the runways to give details of the airport itself (London
Gatwick in this case)

This final screen shot shown but a fraction of all the informations
available. However, it is the most impostand part as regards ILS.

Tune an approrpiate frequency - they're both 110.90 - into Nav 1.

Finally, you have to have the heading bug set to the correct runway -
ATC will tell you - for an ILS approach. So, set it to either 082 or
262 degrees.

I usually write down this info in the Notes section of the Kneeboard
as hitting the Display Flight Map button pauses the program in FS2002
- I believe this is not the case in FS2004.

Regards
James

This is how I read the question. In cockpit view click on the map icon.
Then trace the red line to the airport where you will land . Click on it
and you get a list of runways with ILS.
