[SOLVED] Im a Beginner and Need Suggestions

Ive been very strongly considering buying a raspberry 4 and a soldering kit cause i would like to jump into the world of amateur electrical engineering/experimenting with circuts and custom scripted tasks . i know what kind of raspberry pi i want to get (still open to suggestions) but i need advice on a decent quality soldering iron set i could buy. im comfortable paying upwards of $50ish for a good quality/relatively durable kit to buy online but flexible on that if its real real good .

The main thing is....you want to be able to control temperature....and you want multiple tips.

You'll also want to learn how to solder well. Here's a video. Look for others

And as far as learning how to solder....practice practice practice. You learn by experience and after a while....you learn tricks and get good at it.

You don't have to solder, you can use a breadboard. I did so.

I don't care what it looks like, only functionality. I installed 3 LEDs that tell me in what state the RPI is in, booting, done loading OS and ready to be shut down. Useful when running without monitor-connection.
I also had to get cables or whatever they are called and a couple resistances to lower the wattage to not blow up LEDs.

Alot easier to troubleshoot because nothing is permanently soldered or anything. And reusable.

No soldering required. The leads of the components fit into the holes and make contact with traces below. Then jumper wires connect the components.
