So i decide to buy the gtx1070 for 4K gameplay
allready know the monitor i will get
The only question i have
I saw alot of motherboards they have a support of 4096X2304 resolution on only 24Hz
And not 60Hz
The question i have ,should i worry about that?
Cuz i remember that i suppose to connect the monitor to the GPU by HDMI or displayPort
and the GPU support the 2160p resolution on 60Hz
But i don't know what gonna happened if i will get a basic motherboard with maybe option for OC , will make my games run only on 24Hz ,in 4K ?
thank you very much

The motherboard graphics support only matters if you are using the onboard graphics, which you aren't.
You want to use Display Port for 4K.

I am running a GTX 980ti on ASrock Z170 Pro4 and get decent frame rates on 4K, all of them above 30.
