I'm about to buy the GTX 1070 for 4k gaming

So i decide to buy the gtx1070 for 4K gameplay
allready know the monitor i will get
The only question i have
I saw alot of motherboards they have a support of 4096X2304 resolution on only 24Hz
And not 60Hz
The question i have ,should i worry about that?
Cuz i remember that i suppose to connect the monitor to the GPU by HDMI or displayPort
and the GPU support the 2160p resolution on 60Hz
But i don't know what gonna happened if i will get a basic motherboard with maybe option for OC , will make my games run only on 24Hz ,in 4K ?

The board dont matter when using a video card the monitor runs off the card not the board.
In most of the newer games your not going to like the performance of the 1070 running 4K unless you cut some settings down.
