I did not buy ant GPU or Video Card yet,but,I am next week.I am going to install a AMD A-10-6700K plus a PNY PCI Express 2.0 x 16 DDR3

The A10-6700 uses an FM2 socket. Please make sure your motherboard supports it before you buy it.

Will the video be disabled when you use the GPU you install? - Thats depends on how you set it up.

Which motherbd do you have or plan on getting?

Thanhs for feedback-MOBO ACER AAHD3-VC with FM2 socket.14GB Ram.Not going to install any video cards until I get this thing up and running.I installed a AMD A10-6700 APU .Black screen (monitor is ok..The ld APU is shot.Going to get new P/S tomorrow,I know that's this was probably not the problem though.I had a 300w p/s and upgrading to a 500w.I thought that I would just install the new APU and that's it.Now I can't get into the BIOS because of the black screen,Rudy
