I'm building a new computer but I'm worried that the motherboard coming in will have faulty DIMM or are DOA.

What kind of motherboard should I get. I'm getting an Intel i7-8700k but i want a good motherboard that isnt too expensive, $250 or cheaper. And one that will be able to support a big air cooler, Noctua NH-D15. If you have any build info and/or tips on what brands to get please tell me. This will be my second computer but bad reviews get me worried.

never buy used parts if you dont have experience in troubleshooting, If you buy new you will have a warrantee which will cover RMA's for defects, as for brands I suggest MSI for performance, GIGABYTE for longevity.

Ive heard people saying that gigabyte isnt the best and they rma their boards more when they buy gigabtye.
