Out of curiosity, what is the purpose of the build? The titan has been beaten by cheaper cards in gaming and a professional workstation card would be better fitting for most workstations.

The parts you chose are compatible and the processors are the same. The different retailers just put a slightly different name in the title. All 3930k's are sandy bridge-e

The RAM that I'll be getting uses 1866MHz and 1.5V. Will this cause any problems?

I'm going to be using it for making 3D models and animations in a program called Blender. I've done a bit of research and I found that the Titan is one of the best cards for handling large texture maps, large scenes, and animations.

Sounds like a smart choice then, the pricey titan is kind of a niche item now.

The motherboard is compatible.

The problem that you linked to earlier is the intel memory controller. Alot of people overclock it to 1866 and its fine. It just is if something does go wrong like what happened to the guy you linked, the warrenty has been voided by the overclock. He likely had an inferior board or something. You should be fine

Its a good kit. I'm using lower latency Ram at 1600 to keep my rig fast without having to OC.
