Hi im building my first pc, the thing is im not sure if the motherboard, psu, case are fitting.
what parts would you swap out that seem unnecessary?
250gig ssd which i already bought
i7 4790k
gtx 970
ripjaw 2x4gig
ASRock Z97 Extreme4, socket 1150 (not sure about this one)
Seasonic S12G-750, 750 Watt
Corsair Obsidian 750D
to me that case looks very good from reviews yet its expensive

Solution
That's a good build. The 4790K isn't necessary if you are just gaming, so unless you doing multi-threaded tasks, go for a 4690K.

The motherboard is fine. Haswell processors use socket 1150 and Z97 is the latest chipset for these processors.

The 750D is a great case, I have one and I love it. If you think it is too expensive, take a look at the 450D. It is basically a 750D but it is a mid tower case.

Also, maybe change that PSU out to an EVGA G2, but only if you want a modular PSU.
