I have saved what I think is a decent amount for a Gaming pc. I'd like for it to be as future proof as possible seeing as it's expensive to build new pc's. So I'm asking you all to help with your knowledge and experience to build me a pc of such quality. I'd do it myself but it's my first build and I want it to be as close to perfect as it can be.

I'd like to stay on one monitor at well i'm not sure what resolution.
Sli/Crossfire i don't know to be honest that's why I'm here asking.
I don't need a keyboard or mouse I already bought some Razor products.
There is also a used Smilodon ( I think that's what it's called) case with a 550w? Psu i can get for free. If I need better please say so.
Gaming and casual browsing is the only thing i will use it for.

Here is where the plot thickens. I was thinking about helping my buddy by buying him a new mobo/pcu/gfx card/ram since he's the one who wants me to play with him and he's in a bit of a rough spot. He's using some old E-machine. Is there anyway to build me a great gaming pc and still help him out with future games? If not I can always help him out later. Primarily I just want to have little to no issues running games for the next few years.

I appreciate your time and opinions and await your comments.
Thank you.

sorry =(

The first option is a single gtx 580 now and add one later on, the other option is to get two gtx 560's right away. dual gtx 560's in SLI > single gtx 580.

I posted two different gtx 560's in there to look at...decent deal on either one. Both can be over clocked.

btw those fans in that build...the 200mm fan goes on the side, and the smaller one is for the bottom of that case.

Yep...if you plan on adding another one later on. A lot of people plan on adding a second card later on but don't for one reason or another. You can't go wrong imo either way. Two now or one big one now and add another one later.
