Im connected to the internet but not connected at the same time :/

There is a red X on the bottom right where the internet is but I am connected. When I try to enter the xbox app it says I cant connect because I dont have an internet connection when I do! How can I fix this?

Where do you see you are connected to the internet? Are you just connected to the your modem/router?

No, the only thing connected is the PC and the modem
