I'm getting less than 20% free space time to upgrade HDD?

In my HDD i have 19% free and eventually in a month i will be getting 16-17 in future. Do i have to upgrade the hard drive ASAP or can i wait for some time? Say until get 15%?

Running single 320GB WD black Scorpio hard drive on my desktop.

Your call sure you can wait till it's 15% but if you have the money to upgrade why drag it out lol.

My question is will i have any performance drop at the moment (19/17/18/16%) ?
Also when the drive partition turn in to red? If i get any notification like that i will change it asap.

I just upgraded the Graphic card yesterday after a huge saving. 🙁

In general, you should keep as much of your drive free as possible. If I had to put a minimum on the amount, I would say keep at least 15% of your startup drive free at all times; more is better. If you're getting to the point where you worry about your hard drive's free space, it's probably time to either spring for a larger hard drive or archive some of the data and get it off the drive.

Yeah if i'm buying i will buy a 1tb drive and and move all the data. Later on (6 month) I will swap that 320GB with 120gb SSD.
