I picked up an used Asus RX 580 8GB and I'm getting these strange artifacts on the screen. I also get them when I watch certain YouTube videos, and when I watch my movie collection in Kodi, when playing same video file in VLC player everything looks good.. I have my computer connected to a TCL 4K TV with a HDMI cable. I tried connecting a DVI monitor and artifacts didn't show up. I replaced a Radeon HD 6850 with this RX 580, didn't have any problems with the old card. Does anyone have any idea what could the problem be? I'll include a few screenshots below.

Specs:
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
8GB PC3-12800
OCZ 600W power supply

You can try undervolting and underclocking it then. If you don't see any more artifacts, it's the GPU dying. But I would highly suggest to try it in a friend's PC.

Drivers? Try a different port on the GPU?

Bad news buddy. I bought a used 1080 ti, worked great for about 4 months then started artifacting. Tried it on a buddy's system and didnt even post, it would artifact on just the desktop and low demanding games. Tested all the powers coming out the psu, got motherboard rma'd ram tested. Eventually sent it to zotac and they confirmed it was bad. I glad they accepted the rma even though it was used.
