So I decided to replace my video card, my cpu and my motherboard but ill keep my hard drives powersupply, etc. Will i keep windows 10 and will i be able to boot like normal. I've never built a pc before please help me.
I Am not a big expert or anything, but as far as i am concerned, you wont need to install a new windows, if you're keeping your hard drive. The OS is stored on the hard drive, and when you turn your pc on it copies the OS to the RAM, wich then gets processed by the CPU.
If you built the PC you would have known the difference when you bought the licence, so Im assuming this is a prebuilt?
In which case, its an OEM licence.

Look at the case for the CD. If it says retail you can reuse it, if it says OEM, you cant on a different motherboard.
Ok thanks alot. But what is going to happen, when i replace my graphics card, is my screen going to work since i dont have the drivers? Sorry im kinda panicking
Well, you should uninstall the graphics drivers now, just in case.
You will still be able to use the monitor, just at a basic resolution.
When you upgrade, it will be a basic display as well, until you install the new drivers.

Wait so if you uninstall the drivers, you can still see your screen? I thought that if you uninstalled drivers, the screen will turn off. And how/where can i uninstall the drivers?
Nope, the drivers allow for the card to function fully, without them it acts as a basic display adapter.
There are plenty of video tutorials that would probably do a better job at explaining it than me, but if you go into Nvidia control panel, or CCC (Nvidia vs AMD) there should be an uninstall option.

I know this may sound weird, but I actually have a Windows disc purchased from Microcenter. It says "Windows 10 for OEM" next to the product key. Yet, it seems to be retail since I have clean installed it on my own motherboard and new one.

What will i have to do when i start up my pc with new parts?
