you always want to run in dual channel with memory and a lower cas latency is better these have a cl of 8
your hdd is a 2.5 i dont know why should be a 3.5 with rpm of 7200 costs less better performance
never skimp on psu that is a really bad power supply and could possibly destroy your componentsi added a tier 2b psu really good and reliable for 40 dollars more

other than that it is fine, i will say especially with a vishera cpu if you are going to over clock you need a after market cpu cooler
and if you play mainly online multiplayer fps games i would go with this monitor which only has 1 ms of response time. it means your mouse and keyboard will be hella responsive in bf4 cod ghosts whatever your flavor is and it is only 20 dollars more

the 80+ designators are for energy efficiency it has nothing to do with clean power and quality of the components inside the power supply like capacitor coil and fuses that is how they are tiered and the best ones to have in a build are tier1 tier2 and tier2b

A $20 psu on a $1300 system? Do NOT skimp here! You don't want to fry this gorgeous setup!
Other than that, you'd still be happy with what you've picked out however, intel per core is just more powerful than amd. Most games do not use multi-core unless you are streaming. Even that's a small percentage of the market.

Get the better monitor I recommended as well. You will be looking at it everyday.

Those peripherals while I get your enthusiasm for bf4 worry about that later. Get these better parts instead so you can enjoy the actual game more and you'll have plenty of time to buy bf5's keyboard and mouse package in October.

And yes, I actually listed just the 1x8GB stick on purpose. Normally I too push for dual channel but as this guy is on a budget, it makes more sense to get the 1 stick now and while 8GB is sufficient atm I'm helping him prep for tiled resources coming this fall. That's new tech to use system memory over gpu ram for more detailed textures, graphics etc. We could very well see in the near future ram requirements shoot up for graphical performance:

I know I also prefer to recommend dual channel kits but this gives him the flexibility to game now and later at top notch levels. Obviously whenever ddr4 comes into the mix that may change the whole ball game but for now this helps him play it safe either way.

And with regard to building a pc that will have no problems, no one can guarantee that. You will have problems. A driver update can cause your once stable oc to crash, hang, bsod or have artifacts and you'll have to revert the driver till the next update resolves such issues, you will have to update your pc, etc. But I get you mean will they be compatible but I assume nothing ever. In the case you were thinking absolutely 0 I just wanted to put this out there to address that. If you already knew this I appreciate your patience reading this part.

most of the lower watt antecs are tier 3 and there is only one evga that is above tier 3 i will agree that xfx makes some of the best power supply and bar none the cheapest higher tier quality psu however i was try to save the op some much needed dinero and using a tier2b is perfectly fine

Your save comes with no sense. That will not work so long as more reliable psu will. So in the end there is no save. If OP thinks long term save then it is better buy good quality psu like Rosewill cappstone.
It is much more reliable than XFX or Corsair. Rosewill cappstone is made best quality parts all the way. This makes it really reliable unit. It do have long warranty. was that seven years? Green has only two year warranty.

capstone is of slightly better build and 25 dollars more and it is not much more reliable than xfx as they use seasonics build for their power supply...i will give you the corsair some of them the axi are one of the top psu you can get like the xxx and black series xfx powersupply and which are all tier 1 and rated better than roewill capstone. the capstone it a really good powersupply but it is rated a tier2 all of the ones i just named are tier1 so no it isn a better build quality or a better rated power supply.
