Hello to everyone at Tom's Hardware. I've decided to join this forum because I have searched everywhere but found nothing that could help me figure out what is wrong with my pc. I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but here goes...

First I changed pc components, excluding Hdd and case. I went with a budget based build. I have:
Mobo - asrock p75 pro3
cpu - intel g860 3.0 ghz
ram - 2x4gb crucial ballistix 1600 mhz running at 1333
video card - sapphire hd 7850 1 gb 860mhz/1200mhz stock clocks.
psu - corsair cx500

Ok, so problem is modern games such as crysis 3 for example doesnt run well enough(poor fps on all settings even low) and my monitor resolution is just 19" 1440x900

Then there was an old racing arcade game called blur it runs really weird on every settings it's giving me fps of 20-40 average being 20 most of the time. Oh and in crysis 3 its same story.

Hopefuly someone can guide me in the right direction of what id need to do in order to have this video card run anything at this resolution. Thanks in advance.

I'll try it out I guess, though I dont see how it might help. I've played old games recently such as Darksiders and medal of honor, both were released at around 2010. And i had over 60 frames with low gpu usage, about 30%-40% at most. Temp was 50C or so.

Yeah I saw that benchmark chart earlier today and I already thought of this cpu being a bottleneck. Guess I'll need to upgrade it in the near future. :/ Did that furmark test at 720p got 2,9k points with 50 fps average. At my native resolution(1440x900) 36-35 fps average and 2,1k points at the end.

So ran a few other benchmarks like resident evil 6, call of pripyat and unigine heaven and in those im getting playable fps. Seems like cpu i have isnt enough for crysis 3. Would i3 3220 be enough for hd 7850 at my resolution ? Not planning to buy a bigger monitor yet.
