I'm having this weird frame stuttering issue with my laptop. I attached a video clip please watch it.
This happens in Unreal Engine 5 and other games too. I tried few games namely, Snowrunner, mirror's edge catalyst, BF4 and all of them stutters just like this no matter what the graphics settings are.
Laptop model: MSI GS65 Stealth Thin
RAM: 32GB 2666 (16GB x 2)
CPU: i7-8750H
GPU: 2070 MaxQ
* Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 22H2
* Nvidia Driver - 556.12 (Tried a few driver versions. No luck)
* High performance power plan enable + Manually set in Nvidia control panel
* Laptop has no battery. It got swollen so I removed it.
I thought this was an overheating issue. So, I replace every thermal pad and reapplied thermal paste on both CPU and GPU only yesterday. As you can see on HWInfo, thermals are not the issue and the CPU and GPU are boosting as they are supposed to.
