I'm having lag in fortnite

I lag when I play on low settings on 1080p. It's very annoying cause I have when it happens 1-15 fps.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

What kind of CPU do you have?

Memory?

Run s Virus scan? Maybe that is causing issues

16 gigs of ram
And I already reinstalled windows to see if that would work

Even with a clean install of windows and updated GPU drivers and you still running into issues with low FPS. It starting to sound more Hardware related. Have you played any other games with the same issue?

Nope,
I played ark: survival evolved on epic just fine. Minecraft played also on a normal 400 fps high settings😉

BTW my graphics card only runs at 50% and it won't go higher

DJ, try uninstall the drivers completely from your PC. Restart and reinstall the latest drivers.

It sounds like your GPU is not wanting to Boost for that game.

I am ruling out Hardware problems since you are having no issues with other games. Your GPU is not wanting to kick into its full potential for Fortnite. Sounds software related.
