I'm installing an H80i GT without a backplate, is that ok?

Alright, like the title, i installed the H80i without an AMD backplate, cuz i toss it somewhere i couldn't find it back in my old house. So this is what i did. I was using NZXT Respire T40, and i took it off and realized i got no backplate for the H80i, so i'm using the NZXT Respire T40 to install the H80i with its screw. I screwed the screws of H80i with NZXT's screws, it worked out well of course, it is not going all the way in, just hold a few rounds of the H80i screws, but it holds pretty good. And also the NZXT's backplate is pushing the H80i back, and also NZXT screws. So when i check the pump, it's really tight, couldn't move it. But now i'm afraid that someday, the NZXT's screws will be pushed off by the back plate, and my computer go boom. Is it good to keep it like this? Or do i need to get another backplate? I don't wanna reapply the thermal paste because it's kinda hard to me. 🙁 please help

No no no no no no no no and NO
Don't use NZXT mounting hardware for Corsairs stuff
If it doesn't go all the way in it is no good and can damage other hardware
If you don't apply thermal paste, ur CPU will fry

I'm with DarkTerbear here, you're playing with fire here. Those things are usually built to tight specs so that you don't end up cracking your mobo (or being too loose that it's not at peak efficiency). Corsair sells the mounting brackets and screws if you ask the customer service about them.

H80i doesn't have a backplate for AMD CPU, they show me how to install it with stock cooler backplate, so i'm getting one. However, is the cooler and the motherboard going to be fine until 2 more weeks?

I mean the backplate and thermal paste will be here for 2 more weeks. So i need to make sure that the cooler and motherboard will be ok for the next 14 days. Or do i need to detach them and wait until then? Cuz i use the pc pretty much

If corsair says its fine with the stock cooler backplate, then i cant say otherwise.
If I were you, I would immediately switch back to the Respire T40. Since you don't have thermal paste on hand, toothpaste works well as an alternative.
I guess if you had the H80i GT on for long enough and nothing bad has happened YET, you could keep it on a little longer. check out your CPU temps, are they doing alright?

Update: I'm using toothpaste as thermal paste in my old pc right now xD

I've just installed it for about 4 hours ago. Idk if it's gonna hold
Btw, Corsair didn't tell me anything, it's in the installation guide
And the temps are great, even though i just overclock it. Idle at <25*C
