Im looking for a cheap GPU to use as a placeholder while I save for a 1080. Any recommendations? My budget is about $50-$60.

Ryzen 3 1300x
MSI B350 Tomahawk
8gb Viper 2400
500w Thermaltake

Do you already own the parts listed?

If not, I might suggest a build based on the G5600 which will include integrated graphics.
And--- thermaltake pau's are iffy as to quality.

If you are going to buy a new faster graphics card within 90 days, I suggest you buy a EVGA card and look into their 90 day free trade up program.
You are going to need to upgrade the whole system including the PSU if you are going to get a GTX 1080.

The system will be severely unbalanced in everyway, Ryzen 3 won't handle a GTX 1080.

Would be better to upgrade the CPU (Ryzen 5 or 7) and PSU (A good quality one instead of the crap you have now) 1st then think about a GTX 1080 later on instead of burning money on things you don't need right now. Then get some good memory 16 GB Dual channel kit, DDR4 3000.

This is the upgrade you would need before you get a GTX 1080.
